FRAUSUN: Live Electronic Goth Industrial Music From Dallas with Scarification, Performance Art,                Burlesque,  and Experimental Videos, Dedicated To Odin, Magick, Love, and Poetry.

Kurtz creates his Dark Ambient, Gothic, Dubstep electronic music and compose experimental videos that utilize Norse, Runic, Historical and Horror themes in their Dallas studio. He's inspired  by such bands as Dead Can Dance, Joy Division, Depeche Mode, and Death in June, film directors Leni Riefenstahl, Fritz Lang and David Lynch, as well as the literary works of Rumi, Nietzsche, and William S. Burroughs.

When Kurtz takes stage, he not only brings music, with live looping, experimentation and effects, but unique guests: BDSM players, burlesque performers, painters, poets, torture and shock talents to make every show a totally unique experience. Each show also includes Kurtz enduring a scarification ritual, performed by his Slave Paloma.

The songs cover a variety of topics, from moral indifference, suicide, destruction and beginnings of rebirth after tragedy to war, love and the Runes, an ancient language used for divination, writing, and magick. Unconventional tones are utilized, including screams from a mad house, Latin invocations, sitars, and ambient chants, with hard beats and noise assault.

“I bring elements of the ancient mysteries, wearing a Greek gold tragedy  mask, with banners displaying my personal Magickal Sigil:  The sun and moon in an eclipse, about to become a Perfect Circle and the alchemical symbol for Gold. The rising horns of masculine dominance."
